Part of the itinerary was the overnight stay at Guimaras Island in Iloilo. Due to the weather condition, we’ve changed our plan and stick to the original plan which is the overnight stay in Iloilo City.

From Caticlan, you can reach Iloilo through Ceres bus. It’s almost six hours of bus ride and fare is around PHP 345. There will be three stop over for your lunch and breaks.

We reached Iloilo City around 5PM and decided to stay at Ong Bun Pensionne House. From the terminal, we ride a PUJ with signboard Jaro-Liko (PUJ fare is PHP 13).

Ong Bun Penssionne House offers cheap accommodation. You can stay at their economy room for as low as PHP 150. You just have to add PHP 50 in your room accommodation for your breakfast.

In our case, we paid PHP 1120 for a family room with seven (7) single beds. Inside our family room is another room with two single beds, cable TV, and own restroom. There’s also a six cubic refrigerator and toilet and batch as well as cable TV aside from those inside the separated room.

Ong Bun Pension House has the perfect location. Robinson’s place, SM Delgado, Unitop, and other commercial buildings are just walking distance from the pension house. You don’t need to worry if you run out of cash because at the lower ground floor you can find the Asia United Bank.
