Just this morning, I went out with my travel buddies Shai and Julie. I decided to meet Ephraim of The Adventist Adventurer while were doing nothing the whole afternoon. Right after he seated, I remind him about his questions that he’d like to ask. He then asked if there’s any other way to reach airport aside from taking a taxi.

Most of us know that you have no other choice but to take a taxi going to Mactan International Airport. Nowadays, it’s kinda expensive for us (travelers) to pay around PHP 300 taxi fare especially if you’re coming from Cebu City.

What’s the good news? Well, there are multicabs or PUJ that will go directly to the airport from Marina Mall. Plus, it will only cost you PHP 8.00.

If you’re coming from Cebu City, you may ride a PUJ going to Mandaue or Park Mall from Colon Street. Fare is around PHP 10-15 pesos only. From Park Mall, transfer to another PUJ that will pass Marina Mall. Probably, it would cost you less than PHP 15 for jeepney fare. Once you reached Marina Mall, look for their PUJ/V-hire terminal where you can ride a PUJ (specifically Yellow colored PUJ) that will take you to the airport.

There you have it! You’ve saved around PHP 240 pesos taxi fare going to the airport.
